Family on the Farm Programs
All of these programs are designed to encourage creative expression and an appreciation of nature. Other days/times available by request:) As a meet up activity with friends, a special day with grandparents, a chance to indulge a child's love for horses (or other farm animals), and more possibilities! |
Parents are required to stay on premises.
There are a number of options depending on your child's level of independence. You can stay and participate with them (or just be there to encourage). You can sit back on one of the chairs in the room and take photos. You can step farther back and read in the library area or play with another sibling in the toy room. If the child(ren) are more independent, the parents can use our wifi, make a drink in the Kuerig, and work or relax on the patio. At the most independent level, parents can head outside to enjoy nature, go for a walk, do yoga, or just sit and listen to the birds:) And the best part is...no mess for you to clean up!! |
Policies to be aware of:
You must register for the number of children participating. For example, if you have 2 children attending a program, you must have 2 in the quantity for that program.
Parents are required to stay on premises during programs.
Children must be registered a minimum of 24 hours before a scheduled program.
If a program is cancelled by the farm for any reason, you will be offered a rescheduled time or reimbursement.
If your family does not show for a scheduled program that you have registered for, you will be offered a rescheduled class the first time only (no reimbursements). If the situation occurs again, there will be no rescheduling (or reimbursement.)
This is a working farm, please keep this in mind when attending events. (See agricultural tourism notice).
